Alina's plan is to lead the troops in a frontal assault on the castle. She's not necessarily interested in superseding the Grey Company command structure, she's just there as a symbol and ideally a diversion. She's going to ride/fly in atop Scourge with various buff spells on (TBD) all to enhance the appearance of a threat to divert attention from the covert ops.
I think we'd want to gather from Pearl/Verthas/Celeste/etc as much intel as we can about at least the exterior of the castle, that way I can be more specific about what Alina will be doing while the war is happening in the background. Rough description, notable features, guard patrols, ease of access from the air, and so on.
